The PHC choir consists of committed members who share a love of Jewish Synagogue Music. They bring years of experience and a varied repertoire, helping to make our service’s enjoyable and inclusive for everybody. 

 

The choir, conducted by Michael Wainstein, sings on alternate Friday nights, together with Chazans Dr Steven Resnick and Dr Josh Freedman.

The choir also sing on the first nights of Shalosh Regalim (Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkoth) and all services of Yamim Noraim (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur).

 

The Choir’s philosophy is to sing for pleasure, aiming to uplift the community and inspire a further spiritual connection.
