
ADAM LEVINE
President
Adam is proud to serve as the President of the shule, and has been on the board for a number of years.
Together with his family, Pnina, Rafael, Aaron and Ezra, he is a real PHC regular, with the shule being his second home!
When not doing shule work (which seems to take up a lot of his time) Adam is a partner with a global law firm, specialising in company law, and also heads up its pro bono practice across Australia.
SHARON BEN-PELECH
Treasurer
Sharon has served as the treasurer for the past three years, before which he was a board member for many years.
Sharon leverages his extensive experience in the retail and hospitality sectors to ensure sound commercial principles and practises are applied to the financial management and governance of the PHC.
PNINA LEVINE
Board Member
Pnina has had a strong connection with the PHC since coming to Perth with her family in 1988 and considers the Shule community to be like an extended family. She feels strongly that the Shule has an important role to play in ensuring Jewish continuity in Perth and generally, and is proud to be a part of its past, present and future.
Outside of shule and community activities, Pnina teaches and researches in law.
MICHAEL WAINSTEIN
Vice-President
Michael is a proud member of the PHC Board, currently serving as its vice-president and ‘master’ of the PHC choir.
He and his wife Debbie and have three children, Jarred, Dean and Kaila who all have a long association with the PHC.
Outside of shul activities, Michael works for an engineering company and is responsible for project cost controls as well as the implementation of the project controls system.
MELISSA ROHALD
Secretary
Melissa and her family have been valued members of our community since their move to Perth from Sydney. Regularly attending Shule,
Melissa actively engages with our community. She brings her extensive knowledge and experience in marketing, contributing greatly to the growth and development of the PHC.
ANDREW SHARPE
Board Member
Andrew and his family came to Perth from Melbourne in 2002 . The shule community is an extension to his family.
He wants everyone to work together to ensure we have a strong and flourishing Jewish community, building foundations for future generations
Outside of shule, Andrew has retired after working FIFO for 20 years as an OH&S Manager. He now spends time researching his family genealogy, the history of siddurim and lectures on Australian Coins and Banknotes.
ARIEL WALTERS
Board Member
Ariel has a deep family connection with the PHC over many decades, and was thrilled to join the board in 2022.
Ariel and his wife Nils, have three school age children, Charlotte, Jackson and Joshua, all proudly associated with the PHC.
Outside of shule, Ariel is a corporate advisor, specialising in project & corporate finance for mining companies.
