About the event
What does it mean to be a Jewish people scattered across the world — and what has kept us together?
Join us for Around the World, a special 8-evening series at the Perth Hebrew Congregation, running Monday, June 22 through Thursday, July 2, 2026.
Each evening, we'll travel together to a different Jewish diaspora community — from the fjords of Finland to the spice markets of Yemen — through authentic food tastings, fascinating history, and personal stories shared by members of our own community.
Every session follows a simple, engaging format:
• Snack on authentic food from that night's featured community
• Discover how and when Jews arrived there, and what made their community unique
