On Monday 4 November, 9 Perth mums will embark on a life-changing adventure in Israel. As part of the PHC’s commitment to ensuring the long-term vibrancy and sustainability of the Perth Jewish community, we are proud to sponsor the fourth annual MOMentum trip, which is followed by a year-long program of learning, growth and communal engagement.
PHC is at the heart of the Perth Jewish community, creating and sharing Jewish infrastructure and experiences for all Jews in Perth. Our MOMentum program is just one example of this, which in part informed our selection of candidates, ensuring a diverse group of participants – some already engaged in certain aspects of the community and some with no connection to Jewish Perth. We welcome everyone and are confident that our participants will return inspired to become more involved in the community and their local congregation.
As busy mums and wives, we know how difficult it can be to make ‘me time’ – time to nourish mind, body and soul. MOMentum is an island in time. An opportunity for mums from across the globe to experience Israel and connect this to the teachings and wisdom of our matriachs: Sarah, Rivka, Rachel and Leah. Our philosophy is that it is us, the Jewish women, who set the tone and the inspiration inside every Jewish home and this MOMentum trip will invigorate all of the participants to enhance our Jewish lives and those of our wider community.
